Mission Statement
The primary mission of the Amador Child Care Council (ACCC), in accordance with Education Code Chapter 2.3, Art. 1, Section 8499, is to plan for child care and development services based on the needs of families in the local community in collaboration with and support from local Amador County Resource agencies.
Vision and Goals
In support of ACCC Strategic Plan, the fundamental goal of the Council is to provide safe, healthy, culturally and developmentally appropriate activities in partnership with all stakeholders-parents/guardians, schools, and communities who recognize and celebrate each child’s uniqueness. These activities assist in the linguistic, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child. The Council encourages and supports parents and families in taking an active role as the child’s primary teacher, advocate, and informer in the life-long journey for the love of learning.
